Last updated 1 November 2026

1. Who we are

This website at www.lumela.co.uk is run by Lumela (“we”, “us”, “our”). To contact us, email info@lumela.co.uk.

These terms cover this website only. If your organisation uses our service, its contract with us governs that.

2. By using this site, you accept these terms

By using our site you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. The date above shows when they were last revised.

3. We may change or withdraw the site

We do not guarantee that our site, or anything on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons, and will try to give reasonable notice where we can.

4. Our intellectual property

We own or license all intellectual property rights in our site and in the material published on it, including its text, design, graphics, films and software. Those works are protected by copyright and other laws. All such rights are reserved.

You may print one copy and download extracts of any page for your own use, and point others in your organisation to content on our site. You must not change any copies you make, use illustrations or films separately from the text that goes with them, or use any part of our content for commercial purposes without a licence from us.

5. Do not rely on the information on this site

The content on our site is general information only. It is not advice you should rely on, and in particular it is not financial, investment, accounting, legal or other professional advice.

Every figure, example, model or illustration on this site is illustrative only, including any illustration of a return on investment. They are based on example data and assumptions that will not match your organisation. They are not a prediction, an estimate or a promise of the result you would get.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site up to date, but we make no promise, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete or current.

6. Websites we link to

Links to other sites are there for your information only. We have no control over their contents and a link does not mean we endorse them.

7. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that English law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

To the extent the law allows, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations and other terms that might otherwise be implied into these terms.

We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising from your use of, or inability to use, our site, or from your use of or reliance on anything on it. In particular, we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss.

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for your own technology and should use your own virus protection.

8. Acceptable use

You may use our site only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • use it in a way that breaks any law or regulation, or is fraudulent;
  • knowingly introduce viruses or any other malicious or harmful material;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on, or anything connected to it;
  • attack the site with a denial-of-service attack; or
  • copy or resell any part of the site in breach of these terms.

9. Your personal data and cookies

We use your personal data only as set out in our privacy notice. We set no cookies on this site ourselves. The booking calendar, run by Cal.com, sets its own; our cookie notice explains them.

10. Governing law

These terms, their subject matter and their formation, and any non-contractual dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
